Delivery will take approx 2 weeks and will be posted to you directly from the printer.

Welcome to the official Big Al’s Poker Run Website!
We are Western Australia’s biggest custom car show and cruise, now in our 37th year. According to many responses on our Facebook page, our 2016 event (The 36th consecutive annual Poker Run) was one of the best ever!
You loved the cars, trucks, utes and pickups – with over 500 cars including, customs, classics, street machines and hotrods attending.
You loved The Vintage Collective Markets, the fashion show, the food trucks, the free kiddies rides and live rock n roll band – The Roadmasters.
Thank you to all of you who brought your special rides to the beautiful Perry Lakes Reserve and the many supporters and vendors of The Vintage Collective Markets. The markets brought a special vibe and energy to the day and made it a much more inclusive day for the community.
Thank you to the Perth City Street Machine Club who provided very professional and helpful car marshaling service. Thank you also to the Mayor and officials of the Town of Cambridge for assisting us with the event and for all the help they provided in preparation for the event.
Our celebrity judge this year, Josh Hill from the West Coast Eagles, said he was the envy of all his team mates for scoring this gig. Every year we have a celebrity judge who we ask to perform the hard task of choosing some of the winners, including the best car, ute and pickup in several categories. We ask them to choose the best car by choosing the one they would personally want to drive home or own. Make sure you check out the results tab to see his picks!

Every year we raise money for charity with the proceeds, after costs being donated to local charities. Over the past five years we have donated over $50,000 with the main beneficary being the ‘Wheels for Hope’ charity. In 2015 we donated and pledged $3,500 to Wheels for Hope, $3,500 to Mondo Community Warriors and $2,700 to the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
This year, our primary donation will be given to Uni Camp for Kids, the oldest established children’s charity run entirely by the UWA students. For more info on the charity, click here to check out their website. A big thank you to Cameron, and the 40 volunteers that came down on the day to help out with the event. We are pleased to announce, thanks to all the generous donations from our sponsors, participants and spectators, we were able to donate $10,000 to Uni Camp for Kids this year!
What is Big Al’s Poker Run?
Big Al’s Annual Poker Run event is back for 2017! Held on Saturday 11th February at Perry Lakes Reserve, Floreat, hundreds of Hot Rodders will gather to show off their amazing cars and then participate in the classic poker run. Entries open December 2016. Keep a look out for updates.
It’s a fun family event for owners of hot rods (pre ’48) /custom cars / trucks / pickups, classic and special interest vehicles. There are four events in this annual activity and it always starts on the second Saturday in February each year.
Big Al’s Poker Run is proud to present The Vintage Collective Markets who will once again be present at the event. The markets proved to be very popular for the whole family in 2016 and we can’t wait to see all the awesome vendors they bring in 2017. Check out what its all about by clicking here.
The four events are as follows:-
1) Show n shine event with celebrity judging – 10am to 4pm.
2) Big Al’s Poker Run 4pm (a fun car borne treasure hunt with cars following 4 different routes to find the evening event).
3) Evening event with a bar, prize giving and the opportunity to socialize with other Hot Rod lovers .
4) Twilight cruise on the following Wednesday night starting at 6pm and open to all car owners who booked into Big Al’s Poker Run.
The cost of the four events is $50 per vehicle with as many passengers as you can safely and legally cram in! You will find the online entry on the entry page. Entries open in December 2016.
If you have not got an eligible vehicle (see below) you can still attend as a spectator to the show and shine ($5 entry) and the evening presentations ($5 entry spectators).
After costs, the proceeds for Big Al’s Poker Run are donated to deserving causes. The 2016 event proceeds went to Uni Camp for Kids. Thanks to all our entrants and sponsors we have been able to donate over $60,000 over the past 5 years alone.
– Hot Rods, custom cars, pick-ups, classic cars, vans and trucks
– All vehicles must be pre 1978 (except for late American classics like Mustangs, Corvettes, Cameros).
– Severely modified Holden Commodores VB or VC & Falcons, but 1st timers must send a photo to Big Al first.
– No late jeeps, PT Cruisers, H3’s, Chrysler 300.
